Have you ever found yourself searching for advice or support along your photographic path? Maybe it’s a recurring question that keeps coming up again and again. It might be getting over some project hurdles, like choosing images for a gallery show or a book. It might be processing techniques you’re unsure about or want to master. Whatever it is that’s keeping you from moving forward, Side by Side is the perfect solution!
With Doug’s mentorship and side-by-side personal connection, you can get those questions answered and move forward with fresh ideas. Together we’ll tackle any situation you find yourself in and if it’s inspiration you need most, Doug has plenty of that too!

How does it work?
In advance of the first official meeting, you’ll have a discussion with Doug (via a phone call or an online Zoom meeting) to clarify your goals and then, create a schedule of virtual side-by-side meetings to accomplish those aspirations. The first meeting is free of charge. Ultimately the schedule we decide upon can be as flexible as you want it to be. It could be just one, several, or more, it’s up to you!
Platform: Sessions will take place via Zoom (available for no charge from zoom.us). Additional details will be emailed to participants.
Skill level: This class is designed for all photographers of all skill levels who want to improve!
FAQs about Online Courses
*Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received 7 or more days before the start date will receive a refund of 100% of the tuition minus a $50 administrative fee. Cancellations received 6 or fewer days before the class start date are not eligible for a refund. In the unlikely event that the workshop is canceled by Doug Johnson Photography, full tuition will be refunded. Transfers to another class will only be allowed if the request is received 7 days or more before the class start date.
