WILD SCOTLAND
SEPTEMBER 17 - 27, 2026
Immerse yourself and your photography in the moody and remarkable beauty of Scotland. Dramatic photo opportunities are endless: craggy coastlines, ancient castles, charming villages, deep woodlands, windswept moors, and misty lochs. Our 11-day workshop itinerary is designed to help you experience it all!
After gathering in Glasgow, our group will travel to Glen Coe valley in the Scottish Highlands. We will spend the next several days exploring this beautiful area, photographing lakes, moorlands, mountain peaks, and traditional Scottish village architecture. After three nights in the highlands, we head to the incomparable Isle of Skye. The island offers some of Scotland’s most dramatic scenery, including rock pinnacles such as the Old Man of Storr and geological formations of the Quiraing. We will explore this landscape and breathtaking ocean vistas with our cameras, taking advantage of Scotland’s changeable weather and light.
After four days on the island, we return to the mainland and transfer to Dornie to explore the very photogenic Eilean Donan Castle, built in the 13th century on an island where three lochs converge. Our return to Glasgow leaves just enough time to explore a few more scenic spots before we wrap up our photo adventure with cards full of spectacular images, life-long memories, and creative inspiration sparked by the magic of Scotland!
