MAJESTIC GLACIER NATIONAL PARK

AUGUST 3 - 8, 2024

TWO POPULAR INSTRUCTORS AND ONE AMAZING WORKSHOP!

DJP is teaming up with David Marx & Focus Photo School
to bring you one great workshop experience in
Glacier National Park!

If you’re looking to immerse yourself in a majestic mountain landscape this workshop is for you! Nothing quite compares to Glacier National Park. Gorgeous photographic subjects are everywhere – high peaks, glacier-carved valleys, alpine flowers, quiet forests, turquoise lakes, rushing waterfalls and cascading creeks and the wildlife is world-class too. Mountain goats, bighorn sheep, and grizzly bears are common sightings. We may even spot a moose!

Glacier National Park straddles the Continental Divide and we’ll create stunning photographs on both sides of the park. Beginning our adventure on the east side at the wonderfully scenic St. Mary’s Village, we’ll shoot at inspiring sites like Swiftcurrent Lake and Sunrift Gorge. We’ll then drive up and over the famous Logan’s Pass on the awe-inspiring Going-to-the-Sun Road. On the west side, we’ll explore beautiful areas such as the blue-green waters of Avalanche Creek and the serene Lake McDonald.

Living in Montana, Doug (Missoula) and David (Whitefish) are both intimately familiar with Glacier National Park, having visited, explored and photographed the park for more than 20 years. Join them and enhance your photographic vision in one of the most stunning mountain environments in the United States!

Doug’s manner of presenting his know-how and helping his students use that knowledge to their advantage is great. He is very laid-back, knew the areas where we were photographing, and is very willing to help when needed. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Montana and want to return!
